Join First Alaskans Institute as it hosts the 43rd annual Statewide Elders and Youth Conference in partnership with the Southcentral community. The conference provides a special opportunity to celebrate being Alaska Native peoples, build strong relationships, identify and advance solutions for the challenges and opportunities facing Alaska Native communities, explore creative worlds, and contribute to the greater community through the transference of knowledge between generations.

This year’s theme, K’ets’e k’ʉdaa neehʉghleł, which means “We are approaching change” in Denaakk’e, Koyukon Athabascan, was inspired by the concept of adapting to changing landscapes. First Alaskans Institute looks forward to gathering elders, youth, community leaders, and partners from across the state for four days of connection, learning, and celebration.
