Mike Griffith Joins

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Bettisworth North Architects and Planners is pleased to announce the recent hire of architect Mike Griffith. With 27 years of architectural design, project management, and construction administration experience in Alaska, Mike is an excellent addition to our dedicated team of community builders. As a long-time Alaskan architect, he understands the unique challenges of design and construction in our great state with climate and logistical challenges.

Mike’s focus on technical problem solving, constructability, durability, and ease of maintenance helps us provide functional, long-lasting designs for arctic environments. Working directly with clients, he learns about their project vision and guides them through the conceptual, planning, and implementation process of architecture. Mike holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho and studied Arctic Engineering at the University of Alaska Anchorage. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is certified in Construction Documents Technology (CDT).

His portfolio includes projects for: Bartlett High School, Anchorage Museum, West High School-Romig Middle School Library Instructional Media Center, Southcentral Foundation, University of Alaska Mat-Su Campus, and Boney Courthouse.
