Sheila Hill Joins Cornerstone as Vice President of Finance

Cornerstone General Contractors welcomes Sheila Hill as Vice President of Finance. In her position, Hill will lead the firm’s accounting and finance operations as well as oversee talent management for the company.

According to Mike Boots, Cornerstone Controller, “We are extremely happy to have Sheila join the Cornerstone team. She has exactly the right skills, talent, and experience to help move the company into the future.”

Hill joins Cornerstone with broad experience in corporate and operational finance including more than twenty years of Alaska experience as an executive leader in business analytics, treasury, audits, strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, business development, and accounting. She began her career in public accounting, served as a controller for several Alaska Native corporation firms and subsidiaries, and was most recently CFO for another Alaska construction company.

Hill double majored with a bachelor’s in accounting and management from Fort Lewis College and continued her education with the executive education course at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. She enjoys volunteering in the community and currently serves as secretary for the Construction Financial Management Association, Alaska Chapter. Hill has been a member of the Construction Financial Management Association chapter board since 2013.
