Northrim Bank Announces Promotions

Northrim Bank is proud to announce promotions within the Retail Banking and Credit Administration departments. Chris Chambos is now AVP, Retail Investment Services Manager and will be based out of the East Anchorage Community Branch. Maureen Swartwood has been promoted to AVP, Branch Manager II at the Southside Financial Center. Christina Clayton has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager II at Eastside Community Branch, and James Larson has been promoted to AVP, Special Credits Officer II. Northrim Chairman, President and CEO Joe Schierhorn is pleased to announce these promotions in Retails Banking and Credit Administration.

Chambos has been with Northrim Bank for nearly 9 years and has 16 years of experience in the financial industry. He in a licensed Investment Advisor Representative and Insurance Agent with the Bank. Chambos volunteers at Seeds of Change, providing financial literacy. In his new role, he will help with the overall direction of Northrim Investment Services to include retention and growth of assets under management. Chambos will be based out of Northrim’s Eastside Community Branch in Anchorage.

Swartwood joined Northrim Bank in 2018 with 15 years of experience in the financial industry. She started as a teller and worked in various positions to become a branch manager at Alaska USA Federal Credit Union. Swartwood moved to Alaska after growing up in Fiji. She has volunteered with many projects throughout Anchorage including kid’s day at the Alaska Zoo, NeighborWorks Alaska’s Paint the Town, and making lunches for the Children’s Lunchbox.

Clayton has been with Northrim Bank since 2016 and has nearly 5 years of experience in the financial industry. Before joining Northrim Bank, she had over 30 years of experience in Retail Sales Management. Clayton holds an Occupational Associates Degree in Retail Management. She volunteers with the Quilts for Valor Foundation, Junior Achievement Alaska, and United Way.

Larson joined Northrim in 2019 with 6 years of experience in the financial industry. He has worked at institutions in Alaska and Nevada. Larson attended the University of Alaska Anchorage. He supports the local English Bulldog rescue community and gastric surgery community.
