Amy Bex Named Branch Manager at KeyBank’s Mendenhall Branch
Amy Bex has joined KeyBank as Branch Manager of the Mendenhall branch in Juneau.
In this role, she is responsible for day-to-day operations and coaching her team, as well as providing financial services, including investments and mortgages, to both small business and consumer clients.
Bex’ experience is wide-ranging, including sales, lending, hiring and coaching staff, and building relationships, with an emphasis on providing outstanding customer service. Most recently she served as assistant vice president and branch leader for BB&T Bank in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. She also has managerial experience in the retail industry, in addition to finance and has worked in the education and mental health fields.
“We are excited to have Amy join our team,” said KeyBank Area Retail Leader Misty Howell-Shepherd. “Her diverse array of experience makes her uniquely attuned to the various needs of our many audiences, from our consumer and business customers to the internal team she will be managing.”
Bex earned her bachelor’s in elementary education from Morehead (KY) State University and a master’s of mental health counseling from Eastern Kentucky University. A long-time volunteer, she has worked with the Special Olympics and various arts organizations and looks forward to becoming involved in her new hometown of Juneau.
