Alaska Peninsula Corporation Appoints Brad Angasan as President

Feb 24, 2020 | Alaska Native, Right Moves

ANCHORAGE—The Alaska Peninsula Corporation (APC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Brad Angasan to the position of President. Brad has been with APC for nearly fifteen years and has served in several roles and capacities. Originally from South Naknek, Brad is an APC descendent-shareholder and represents the next generation of Native leaders at APC.

In addition to corporate governance Brad oversees government & business relations and continues to oversee development of APC’s 400,000 acres of land assets throughout the Bristol Bay region.

“Brad is well connected throughout the Alaska Native business community and beyond. He’s well-known for his sense of diplomacy and transparency, which are central elements to our corporations’ success. The appointment to president will be a natural transition for Brad who already serves as the corporate image to many of our key business partners and political leaders at the statewide and national level”, says CEO Dave McAlister.

APC is the merged village corporation of South Naknek, Port Heiden, Ugashik, Kokhanok, and Newhalen. There are nearly 1,000 shareholders from around the Bristol Bay region and throughout the world. APC is engaged in government services contracting, natural resource development services and electrical construction services. APC has operations in Alaska and North Carolina.
