Aaron Helmericks Joins GCI Business Team

ANCHORAGE—GCI Business announced the addition of Aaron Helmericks as the Senior Director of Projects and Engineering.

Helmericks brings a wide range of experience to the position with more than 15 years of oil and gas, telecom, and IT design and operations. He was most recently the CIO for Caelus Energy. Helmericks will be responsible for the continued growth of GCI’s oil, gas and mining sectors. He will oversee the Projects and Engineering teams – formally known as GCI Industrial Telecom.

“Aaron has been a client of GCI’s for many years and we have built a strong relationship based on trust, performance and results. I know Aaron will hit the ground running and help GCI manage our growing oil, gas and industrial sector business,” said Lori Davey, vice president, GCI Business Sales. “If anyone knows remote communications and logistic challenges, it’s Aaron.
