Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) has launched a new Shareholder-Owned Business Directory, a one-stop resource to find the broad range of businesses owned by BBNC shareholders, spouses, and descendants.

The directory, accessible at BBNCShareholderBiz.com, allows customers to search by business name, location, or nearly a dozen different categories ranging from arts and crafts to travel. More than 100 businesses are now listed in the directory, with locations throughout Bristol Bay, across Alaska, and beyond.

The directory highlights the innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit of the BBNC community, featuring ventures from commercial fishing operations to jewelry-making to barber services. Upon the directory’s launch, business owners were sent a window cling to express their pride in being a BBNC shareholder.

“We are so proud to support these businesses started by our talented shareholders, descendants, and their spouses,” says Jason Metrokin, president and CEO of BBNC. “We’re always looking for creative ways to provide benefits to our community.”

Along with the directory, BBNC is running digital advertisements to bring new visitors to the businesses. BBNC also plans to offer webinars on digital marketing and other business tools and a story series on the directory site to highlight businesses of the month and other successes.

BBNC shareholders, spouses, or descendants who are interested in joining the business directory can submit their business information at BBNCShareholderBiz.com.
