2023 Alaska Association of School Business Officials

This is a “must-attend” conference for school district finance, human resource, and other operations staff in Alaska. The conference includes round table discussions and keynote speeches by Josh Peach, who will be speaking on making a lasting impact in personal and professional realms, and John Sedor, who will help school business officials understand Alaska’s current school funding rules and how to advocate for additional funding, using music. In addition to vendors and an exhibit hall, the conference will feature banquets, receptions, and an ugly sweater contest. Preconference activities include a December 2 training for new school managers and pre-conference sessions on payroll, benefits, and teacher certification on December 3.
