Subway® Fresh Forward Restaurant is Coming to Anchorage

The new restaurant design on Lake Otis Parkway includes a modern layout, new technology features and menu innovations, including gluten-free bread.

Anchorage, Alaska – The Subway® restaurant at 9000 Lake Otis Parkway is being replaced by a new Subway® restaurant opening next door at 8936 Lake Otis Parkway. Today, the eatery unveils its new Subway® Fresh Forward design. A ceremonial ribbon cutting is scheduled on February 13, 2018 from 5:30 – 6:30 P.M. Members of the media and Anchorage business community are invited to attend. The restaurant is designed to offer guests an enhanced Subway® experience, delivering bold and playful décor, new menu options and a flexible, comfortable environment for dine in or on the go. The restaurant will be open for business to the public at 10:00 A.M. on February 14, 2018.

“Elevating the overall customer experience has been and continues to be a key focus of ours,” said Steve Adams, President of Subway of Alaska, Inc. “We’re giving our guests more of what they love about Subway® – like highlighting our fresh baked bread, cookies and some of our veggies in modern displays—while providing them with modern features that they have not yet seen from us—like self-ordering kiosks and Alaska’s only touch-screen drive thru.”

The Lake Otis Subway® Fresh Forward design features self-ordering kiosks, designated pre-order pick-up areas, Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, and Alaska’s only touch-screen drive-thru ordering system. The 8936 Lake Otis Parkway Subway® hours are 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Saturday, and 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. Sunday. Guests can pre-order their meals using the Subway® App. The app can be downloaded via Google Play and Apple Store.
