Serving Alaska for 24 years

SeaTac Marine Services has served Alaska with pride since 2000.

Specializing in marine freight moves on our steel deck barges, we transport break-bulk cargoes, construction materials, modules, oversized goods, and heavy machinery from Seattle to Alaska.

We offer our customers ocean going transportation that is tailored directly to their needs, whether it be to move one oversized item or a complete program to move materials year over year. Our Seattle location, sited along the Duwamish waterway, features nearly twelve acres of yard space and a direct rail siting.

In addition to three commercial slip spaces, the terminal features an oversized high ceiling building, originally built to manufacture ferries and large ships. Now, this space is available for our customers and features two ceiling mounted gantry cranes, ample electrical and fourteen truck bays.
Specialized Cargo Transport
From locomotives to transformers, and bulk aggregate and housing modules, we can move a wide variety of cargoes.
Specializing in construction materials, we have a knowledgeable staff and a team of in-house stevedores ready to work for you. Our highly experienced group can safely move, stow, and secure even the most odd-shaped and oversized freight. SeaTac Marine can also provide turn-key solutions from manufacture to transport and delivery arriving at your final destination safely and on time.

Terminal Services in Seattle and Alaska

In addition to our barge service, we also offer terminal services to load and unload your cargo.

SeaTac Marine has partner locations in both Anchorage and Seward. In Seattle, with a rail site directly to our property, we can unload any kind of car and reload it again per customer needs. We have three barge slips available and both inside and outside storage. Our on-site warehouse building is well suited for prefab erection, steel manufacture and short-term dry storage or marshaling of cargo that can be loaded directly on our barges.
