Anchorage Economic Development Corporation

The mission of AEDC is to foster the development of a thriving, sustainable, and varied economy.

Established in 1987 as a private nonprofit corporation (IRS code 501(c)(6)), AEDC is dedicated to stimulating economic growth and diversification in Anchorage. Its mission also involves cultivating a positive business environment and enhancing the quality of life for Anchorage residents. Funding for the corporation is derived from private contributions, municipal and state grants, as well as contracts.

Luncheons

AEDC biannual luncheons are the largest sit-down business event in Alaska. A perennial sell-out, the Economic Forecast Luncheon is attended by over 1,500 industry leaders, C-suite executives, senior staff, business owners, independent contractors and young professionals.
