The Governor’s Council on Disabilities and Special Education has partnered with the State of Alaska’s Department of Labor and Workforce Development to facilitate a virtual job fair where employers can meet directly with job seekers during times that are convenient to the employer through an online platform. This event is open to the public\, with an emphasis on connecting people with disabilities with employers. \nThe deadline for submissions is March 19. For questions and assistance\, please contact the Business Connection Team at 907-269-4777. \nThe Business Employment Services Team (BEST) is an interagency collaboration between the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services and Labor and Workforce Development as well as other state and federal agencies dedicated to meeting the workforce needs of Alaska Businesses while improving hiring outcomes for individuals with disabilities and veterans.  \n
