GCI’s philanthropy program, GCI Gives, has opened the application period for its 2022 grant cycle. From October 1 through November 15, Alaska nonprofits have the opportunity to apply for funding from GCI, one of the state’s largest corporate philanthropic contributors.

GCI Gives’ contributions are focused in seven key areas: diversity and inclusion, cultural arts and innovation, education, healthy communities, youth, animals, and public safety. Over the past five years, GCI has donated more than $10 million in cash and in-kind services to Alaska nonprofits.

“We’re excited to open up the application period to nonprofits across the state for next year’s GCI Gives funding cycle,” says GCI Gives Contributions and Events Senior Manager Megan Mazurek. “Alaska’s nonprofits play a key role in strengthening the social fabric of our home state and we’re honored to support the work of these organizations in the communities we serve.”
