The 49th State Women’s Forum: Good Trouble

November 1, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

$25

“The 49th State Women’s Forum: Good Trouble” will take place Sunday, November 1st. The Women’s Power League of Alaska (WPLAK) is proud to sponsor this online event, as it is indeed a continuation of amplifying conversations within our state and our nation.

Join WPLAK for unfiltered (but respectful) dialogue and inspiring commentary from young professionals, community leaders, thought makers, entrepreneurs, mothers, citizens, and more. At the request of working mothers who are managing increased responsibilities during their weekday, this event will take place on a Sunday. So grab a cup of coffee or a mimosa, and prepare to engage with your fellow women about the victories and challenges ahead, with hopes for the brightest future we can create for Alaskans.

The Women’s Power League is a network of professionals united for the purpose of strengthening our state’s economy through the empowerment of women. We seek to champion future and existing leaders in the 49th state through mentorship, professional development and community building.

WPLAK advocates for inclusion, civic engagement, community service, nonpartisan activism, and sisterhood.

Headquartered in Anchorage, WPLAK establishes new pathways for women to connect and give back through customized programs, unique presentations, and one-of-a-kind events. The organization celebrates the incredible crop of women who have been agents of change and elevated the bar for the next generation.

Drawing on the knowledge of those within and outside of the state of Alaska, WPLAK encourages thoughtful dialogue about the victories and challenges women face in the 21st Century.
