NWSC Webinar: COVID-19 and the Seafood Industry

A diverse seafood panel will discuss the challenges they have faced during the COVID-19 pandemic and offer lessons learned.

Speakers include:

Freddie Rosado
An MBA in Shipping and Logistics from Middlesex University and diploma in Marine Surveying from Northwest Kent College highlight Freddie’s passion for learning. His affiliate membership to the International Institute of Marine Surveying (AffilIIMS) and Fellowship with Chartered Management Institute (FCMI) further showcase his desire towards collaboration.

 

Jim Johnson
After attaining his Masters degree in Public Administration from Seattle University, Jim immersed himself in extensive training from the Cascade Executive Program at the the Evans School of Public Affairs at the University of Washington. For over 20 years he helped manage labor relations in King County and specialized in complex labor negotiations before bringing his experience to the Deep Sea Fishermens Union.

 

Brandii Holmdahl
A true chameleon, Brandii has adapted to every aspect of the seafood supply chain; and has worked in Boston, Nova Scotia, China, Vietnam, and every fishing region in Alaska. Her 30 years of versatile experience has recently afforded her a paramount role as the Fisheries Specialist of the University of Washington SeaGrant.
