Energy Literacy, Economics, and Careers Teacher Training

September 10, 2020 - September 12, 2020

Training for Alaska K-12 educators designed to give you tools to teach about energy, economics, and associated careers in the classroom.

During this course you will receive:

  • One 500-level UA Graduate Credit (may be eligible for lane change & re-certification requirements)
  • Alaska Standards-based curriculum with fun, hands-on activities for K-12 students & access to other free energy education resources
  • Material supply kits sent in advance for use during the course and in your classroom!

This is a virtual training that will be held on Zoom. Event hosts will send out material kits prior to the start of training, so please provide an accurate shipping address in the registration. It is free to register for this course, but cost of the UA credit is $79 (information will be provided to you as to how to register for that).

Zoom sessions will be:

  • September 10th, 4-6 p.m.
  • September 11th, 4-6 p.m.
  • September 12th, 9-11 a.m. and 2-4 p.m.
