The 2025 Alaska Food Festival and Conference is the state’s premier event for those involved in or passionate about Alaska’s food systems, including producers, advocates, educators, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. Organized by the Alaska Food Policy Council, the conference provides a valuable platform for sharing ideas, fostering partnerships, and advancing local food initiatives.

Scheduled for March 28–29 in Kodiak, this year’s gathering is the first conference being hosted off of Alaska’s road system. Accessibility is a priority, so this hybrid event has virtual tickets available for those unable to travel.

The conference helps small businesses discover new markets, adopt best practices, and address challenges in Alaska’s unique food landscape by fostering connections. It also raises awareness about critical food issues, such as supply chain vulnerabilities and the importance of local production.
