11th Alaska Black Business Expo and Summit

Support entrepreneurs, network with business leaders, learn about the many Black-owned businesses in the Anchorage community, and learn how to start and grow a business. Admission to the events at the museum are free. Participants can take part in a creative writing workshop at 12 p.m., learn about historically Black colleges and university education opportunities at 1 p.m., watch or take part in the Youth Business and Community Shark Tank at 2 p.m., learn how to start or grow a business and access funding at 3 p.m., and learn about civic engagement, voting, and more at 4 p.m. An after-hours mixer will be held from 7 to 9 p.m., with speakers, entertainment, and food. On Sunday, the celebration continues with “Ode to the Diaspora,” a fashion journey through the Black experience.
