Anchorage Museum Announces Call for Entries for Crafts Weekend, Summer Art Potpourri

The Anchorage Museum announces a call for entries for Crafts Weekend and Summer Art Potpourri, the museum's most popular annual craft events.

In both events, Alaska's top artists, craftspeople, authors and illustrators are given a forum to demonstrate and sell their work. Summer Art Potpourri runs daily July 1 through Aug. 31. Crafts Weekend is Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 26-28.

Both events are juried. Deadline for submissions is March 26. A prospectus is available at www.anchoragemuseum.org.

The Anchorage Museum is the largest museum in Alaska, and one of the top 10 most visited attractions in the state. The museum's mission is to share and connect Alaska with the world through art, history and science.

Winter hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, closed Monday. Admission is $10 adults, $8 senior/student/military, free ages 17 and younger. Learn more online at www.anchoragemuseum.org.
