Closing and Copy Dates
Published monthly. Space reservations must be made by the 20th of the
second month preceding publication date. Camera-ready
advertisements are due on the 27th of the second month preceding publication
date; all advertisements
needing production work are due on the space reservation date at the magazine's
business office. Publisher assumes no liability for copy or materials sent
without a proof.

Printing: Magazine is printed on heatset web offset press on
publication-grade enamel stock.
Binding: Saddle-stitched.
Acceptable materials for reproduction:
Adobe Acrobat Portable Document File (PDF) is the only file format accepted. All
fonts used must be embedded in the final PDF. Save as PDF version 3, 4, or 5.
Film or photographic originals as camera-ready copy are not acceptable.
Digital Ad Specifications:
Digital copy must be
provided in PDF format on either MS-DOS or MAC disks (CD-ROM, 3 1/2", ZIP 100 or
JAZ 1 Gb). Convert all images to CMYK and insure image resolution is 300 dpi or
above. Hard copy proofs must be provided with all electronic or disk-based
material. Color proofs must be provided with material for color reproduction.
Publisher will not be responsible for color mismatches if color proofs are not
provided. Digital files under 3Mb can be sent to “materials@akbizmag.com”.
If your file size is over 3Mb, the file should be sent to our File Transfer
Protocol site (FTP) at
ftp.akbizmag.com Ask your account manager for user ID and password. Notify
your advertising account manager by e-mail when ad copy is sent. Detailed
