Ravn Air Group Welcomes Joseph to Executive Leadership Team

RAVN Air Group is pleased to welcome Bruce Joseph to the Executive Leadership Team. Bruce joined RAVN on April 1 as the Executive Vice President of Safety, Security and Compliance reporting directly to me. Bruce joins RAVN from Spirit Airlines where he served for 3 years as the Director, Regulatory Compliance. With this position, Bruce joins RAVN’s Executive Leadership Team. Bruce will be instrumental in drawing on his vast experience to support RAVN in its drive to continue to enhance safety, security and compliance across the entire RAVN network.
Bruce’s background is unique because of a blend of operational experience gained in his 20 plus years as an airline pilot, accident investigator, experience as an airline executive in safety-security-compliance and operations. Along with his motivation for safety and outlook for continuous improvement, Bruce is driven for results as an agent for change. Earning a B.S. in Safety & Aviation Management as well as a B.S. in Business Administration at Southern Illinois University, Bruce continued his education with graduate coursework in law at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center and the University of Southern California, Aviation Safety Program. Bruce has a long list of credentials and professional development. Bruce spent 20 plus years as a Pilot for US Airways where he has accumulated over 15,000 incident and accident free hours. Bruce is an experienced accident investigator supporting 7 major hull loss accidents in his career. Bruce comes to us from Spirit Airlines where he served in the position of Director, Regulatory Compliance for the fastest growing ULCC in the world. Bruce is a current CFI and still enjoys flying general aviation aircraft and looks forward to getting to know all of the great people here at RAVN.
