Meetings and Events coming to Fairbanks in May
Fairbanks, Alaska (AK) – Conventions, conferences, meetings and events held in the Golden Heart City bring attendees, participants and spectators to the community that positively impact the local economy. The Estimated Direct Attendee Spending (EDAS) is a nationally-accepted economic impact calculation of meetings based on the factors of number of out-of-town meeting attendees, number of nights in a local lodging facility and an average expenditure rate. The calculation does not include economic model-multipliers.
