Explore Fairbanks hosts “Be a Visitor in Your Own Town”
Fairbanks, Alaska (AK) – On Saturday, May 6 at 9 a.m., the public is invited to “Be a Visitor in Your Own Town.” This is an opportunity to enjoy a free motorcoach city tour in and around Fairbanks and see Fairbanks the way our visitors do. This driving tour includes highlights such as the trans-Alaska oil pipeline, the University of Alaska Fairbanks and historic downtown Fairbanks.
Only 145 seats are available on a first come, first served basis. Free tickets are available starting at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 6 at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitors Center, 101 Dunkel Street in downtown Fairbanks. The tour will then run from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., starting and finishing at the center.
