Alaska Railroad asks, “Will you be my Valentine?”
First family-friendly Kid’s Valentine Train announced for February
ANCHORAGE, ALASKA – This February, the Alaska Railroad will offer a brand new, special event train for all ages in celebration of Valentine’s Day. The Kid’s Valentine Train will offer two departures on Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., and will travel 2.5 hours round-trip from Anchorage to Indian. All passengers, especially those traveling with their little valentines, will revel in the fun of a magician, candy, balloon animals, snacks and live music.
“We continue to see high demand for family-friendly special event trains, and the Alaska Railroad is exited to offer passengers another option with the Kid’s Valentine Train,” said Alaska Railroad Director of Passenger Marketing and Reservations Bruce LaLonde. “After the success of this year’s inaugural Kid’s Halloween Train, we anticipate that the Kid’s Valentine Train will also be a popular option for families this winter.”
