GCI waives fees for all calls, texts to Belgium
Valid for calls made from home phones as well as wireless

ANCHORAGE, AK – In the wake of devastating attacks in Brussels today, GCI will waive all fees associated with international voice calls and texts to Belgium. GCI customers who wish to contact family and friends in Belgium to confirm their welfare may place those calls and texts for free through April 30, 2016.
This free service is valid for calls made from home phones as well as wireless.
Customers are not required to make any action on their account before calling or texting family and friends in Belgium. Customers with questions can contact GCI customer representatives at 907-265-5400 or 800-800-4800.

We hope that by offering free calls and texts, Alaskans will be able to stay in touch with loved ones who may be in Belgium during this time of tragedy,” said GCI Senior Vice President and General Manager Consumer Services Paul Landes.
