Oil and Gas Industry Update, Mythbusters Edition
Make it Monday Forum, Oct. 31
ANCHORAGE – You’re invited to the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce’s “Make it Monday” forum on October 31, 2016 featuring the Alaska Oil and Gas Association (AOGA). Opinions and ideas about Alaska oil and gas industry issues are all over the map. At this event, AOGA External Affairs Manager, Sarah Erkmann, will provide clarity around some topics that have grabbed headlines and sparked conversations across Alaska.
In addition, Casey Sullivan, Director of Public Affairs of Caelus Energy Alaska, the independent oil company that recently announced an exciting new discovery at Smith Bay on the North Slope, will join AOGA to tell Chamber members more about their plans in Alaska.
The forum will be held at the Dena’ina Civic & Convention Center on the 2nd floor from Noon to 1 pm. Doors open at 11:30 am. General admission is $35. $30 for Anchorage Chamber members ($32 at the door), and $15 for students with a valid ID. Lunch is provided with admission. The Anchorage Chamber's "Make it Monday" forum is the city's No. 1 weekly luncheon, offering current and relevant educational presentations from a variety of speakers. More than 45 programs are provided annually with the number of attendees averaging up to 150 a week.
