Feds Declare "War On Alaska's Future" Say Alaska's Governor and Congressional Delegation
Alaska's Governor and Congressional Delegation have Reacted To The Federal Government's SUNDAY ANNOUNCEMENT: "Obama, Jewell Declaring War on Alaska's Future".
We actually think the administration's action violates the 1980 Alaska National Interest Conservation Act, the will of Congress and the welfare of all American consumers.
Combined with a serious pattern of other imperial and overreaching power plays, the initiation of today's, "Sunday War On The 49th State", may well signal a changing relationship between the administration and Congress. The federal assault may also be prelude to a new relationship between the federal authority and at least one of the Unites States.
Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski (NGP Photo) is chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and the Interior and Environment Appropriations Subcommittee, which together have oversight of the Interior Department's underlying legislative authority, nominations, and budget.
"These decisions simply cannot be allowed to stand," she said. "I have tried to work with this administration - even though they've made it extremely difficult every step of the way - but those days are officially over.
