Mining Industry Names New Officers for Trade Group

Kevin Crutchfield elected Chairman

Washington, D.C. - The National Mining Association (NMA) elected a new slate of officers at its board of directors and annual members meeting in Washington last week. 

NMA Officers for 2016:
Chairman – Kevin Crutchfield, Chairman and CEO, Alpha Natural Resources, LLC
Vice Chairman – Phillips Baker, President and CEO, Hecla Mining Company
President – Hal Quinn, President and CEO of NMA
Secretary – Bruce Watzman, NMA Senior Vice President for Regulatory Affairs
Treasurer – Roger Roberts, NMA Senior Vice President for Administration
Asst. Secretary – Katie Sweeney, Senior Vice President and General Counsel

NMA member companies represent domestic coal and mineral producers, as well as companies from the manufacturing and services sector.  

 

The National Mining Association (NMA) is the voice of the American mining industry in Washington, D.C. Membership includes more than 325 corporations involved in all aspects of coal and solid minerals production including coal, metal and industrial mineral producers, mineral processors, equipment manufacturers, state mining associations, bulk transporters, engineering firms, consultants, financial institutions and other companies that supply goods and services to the mining industry.
