About Jensen: Andrew Jensen has been the managing editor of the Alaska Journal of Commerce since 2012 after joining the paper in 2010 as a reporter. After beginning his career covering collegiate athletics, he has covered business since 2007, when his beats included Walmart, Tyson Foods and JB Hunt Trucking while working for the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal. Originally from South Dakota, he graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in journalism and a minor in political science.

He now focuses most of his time on Alaskans for Sustainable Budgets, a grass roots effort to restore fiscal responsibility and stability to the Alaska government and economy.
