Holiday Bazaar at ANHC
Anchorage, Alaska – Join us for our annual Holiday Bazaar at the Alaska Native Heritage Center on December 3-4, 2016 from 10am until 5pm. We’ve secured over 60 Alaska Native artists traveling from all over the state of Alaska sharing their art and culture. You’re sure to find a wide range in variety of art feature beadworks, weaved baskets, ornaments, various types of jewelry, carvings, large art pieces, and more! ANHC’s Heritage Gifts will also be open to the public. Free admission.
In addition to the many craft vendors, ANHC staff are hosting a Holiday Toy Drive. Every year, ANHC staff donate holiday gift bags filled with warm clothing (jackets, sweaters, hats, and gloves), school supplies, a toy, and a treat for students in need. In 2015, we were able to donate 27 gift bags to kids ages 5- to 12-years-old. The look and excitement on their faces was rewarding in itself. We’ve asked attendees to help us spread the holiday cheer and bring an item to donate. All donations will be collected under the Christmas tree on the stage. We look forward to ringing in the Holidays!
