Project Passion, an annual exhibition showcasing designers’ self-initiated work, is looking for submissions for 2017. This year's theme is collaborative passion projects and aims to highlight how creatives are working together to pursue mutual obsessions/fascinations—outside of client support and feedback. Submitted work will be reviewed by well-known designer duos Katie Kirk and Nathan Strandberg from Eight Hour Day, Jessica Carpenter and Tad Carpenter from Carpenter Collective, and Richard Roche and Jonathan Black from Cast Iron Design.
Organized by Minnesota State University, Mankato design faculty and AIGA Minnesota, Project Passion is a juried show. The deadline to submit is June 15. Submitted work will be reviewed, and selections made by August 1. The exhibit will open in September. For more information, process details, and to submit work, visit projectpassiondesign.com.
