Public Health Webinar Series: Partnering with providers to increase screening rates

The State’s Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion continues its monthly webinar series is tomorrow Tuesday, September 15, 2015. The webinar will focus on the Section’s effort to create and distribute public education materials focused on screenings recommended for detecting cancer and other chronic diseases.

The Section’s webinars are free and short — lasting about 20 minutes apiece, with 10 additional minutes for questions and answers and to explore ways we can all work together. The webinars will air live the third Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m.

Our next webinar begins at 1 p.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015:

Partnering with providers to increase screening rates. Adults should be screened to prevent chronic diseases. Section staff review how key preventive screenings were determined and how the message is being shared with providers and other partners.
