Cancer Awareness Month at Dimond Center
Aces kick off events
ANCHORAGE, AK - Dimond Center is partnering with Alaska Aces, local Zumba trainers, and the American Cancer Society to raise funds and awareness to support the fight against cancer here in Alaska.
Disco Night with the Aces, October 7th from 6pm-8pm
The cost of the event is $5 and all proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society as part of their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. Participants will be able to skate and meet the hockey players and mascots. There will be a costume contest with three top prizes. All adult participants may enter the $100 Dimond Center Gift Card giveaway.
Making Strides Zumbathon, October 8th from 9am-11am
Tickets are $10 and benefit the American Cancer Society. They may be purchased at Dimond Center's Guest Services or online. It be held in front of the new Ulta Beauty and Foot Locker.
Cut for a Cause by Ulta Beauty, October 9th from 12pm - 7pm.
All proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Clip for the Cure by Regis, October 15th from 10am - 6pm.
All proceeds will be donated to the Regis Clip for the Cure Foundation.
