Baxter Senior Living Breaks Ground on New Senior Living Facility
Setting the gold standard for assisted living and memory care services in Alaska
ANCHORAGE—The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce announced that new member, Baxter Senior Living, will be breaking ground on their new construction project at 4308 Baxter Road at 10:30 am on Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Anchorage Chamber members and Baxter Senior Living supporters are invited to attend a short program and refreshments to celebrate the ground breaking of Anchorage’s newest and largest senior living project.
Located in Anchorage’s U-Med District off Baxter Road, Baxter Senior Living will offer assisted living and memory care Alaska's elderly community. The facility features sweeping views of the Chugach Range and Bicentennial Park, a rooftop deck and elevated walkway, one- or two-bedroom private apartments and a multitude of on-site amenities including dining, a wine bar, gardens, a movie theater and gym. The community's location is only a few minutes away from the Alaska Botanical Garden, Providence and Alaska Native Medical Centers, grocery stores, shops, and restaurants.
Baxter Senior Living believes in providing Alaskan seniors opportunities to make new friends, have fun, and live life to its fullest. They appreciate that Alaskan seniors are unique individuals with rich backgrounds and experiences. "These are the people who made Alaska what it is today," says Baxter Senior Living President, JR Wilcox. They deserve to age in place here, where they can watch the sun rise over the Chugach mountains and set into Cook Inlet. They deserve to breath clean Alaskan air and drink clean Alaskan water, hear the occasional float plane and see the occasional moose walking through the parking lot.
