Aurora Children’s Dentistry Announces Grand Opening
Dr. Caitlin Barnes to Offer Pediatric Dental Services in New Practice

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (June 2, 2016) — Aurora Children’s Dentistry is pleased to announce its grand opening. The practice is located in the A Tower of Providence Alaska Medical Center and will accept patients from infancy through age 18, including those with special needs.
“I’m thrilled to continue caring for the dental needs of Alaska’s children at Aurora Children’s Dentistry,” said Dr. Caitlin Barnes. “Our practice is designed to be inclusive of all young patients, with state-of-the-art equipment in a warm, friendly environment.”
Aurora Children’s Dentistry will accept most forms of dental insurance, including Denali KidCare. The practice will offer routine check-ups, cleanings, sealants, cavity treatments and all other services to address any dental concerns parents may have for their children. It is designed to accommodate all young patients and is compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

About Dr. Barnes
Dr. Barnes is board-certified in pediatric dentistry and has worked in private practice in Anchorage for the past five years. Prior to that, she completed her residency in pediatric dentistry at the Alaska Native Medical Center. Dr. Barnes has a passion for public health and has provided services for underserved populations in Virginia, Jamaica and Barrow, including volunteering for Mission of Mercy in both Virginia and Alaska. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Dentistry, graduating in 2007.
