ANCHORAGE, Alaska (February 3, 2016)— Alaska Center for Ear, Nose & Throat (ACENT) is pleased to welcome Dr. Kaylyn Hum as the newest member of the practice. Dr. Hum is a certified audiologist, recognized by both the Academy of Audiology and the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association.
“Dr. Hum is a wonderful addition to our practice,” said Kim Hancox, practice administrator. “Leveraging her expertise in audiology, especially pediatric hearing evaluations, greatly expands our current range of service offerings to our patients.”
Dr. Hum earned her clinical doctorate in audiology from the University of Utah in 2013. She is most passionate about pediatric audiology, including evaluations, amplification, Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) testing and bone conduction amplification. Prior to joining ACENT, she practiced at Alaska Native Medical Center.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the ACENT team,” said Dr. Hum. “I look forward to working with other like-minded professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of each of our patients.”
