Voting Underway in Anchorage
Early and Absentee In-Person voting has begun for the April 4, 2017 Regular Municipal Election
ANCHORAGE, Alaska, March 20, 2017 - The Municipality of Anchorage Clerk’s Office announces that Early and Absentee In-Person voting has begun for the April 4, 2017 Regular Municipal Election. Early and Absentee In-Person voting began this morning at the Loussac Library in the Wilda Marston Theater, and at City Hall on Monday, March 20, 2017.
Voting at the Loussac Library will be in the Wilda Marston Theater instead of the ground floor lobby due to the Library construction. Early and Absentee In-Person voting begins at the Chugiak Senior Center next Monday, March 28, 2016.
On Election Day, April 4, 2017, voters are encouraged to vote at their home precinct or at an Early and Absentee In-Person location. Absentee In-Person voting is available on Election Day at the UAA Student Union, the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Loussac Library in the Wilda Marston Theater, and new, this year, at City Hall.
Individuals who are unable to vote early or vote at their precinct on Election Day may visit www.muni.org/elections to request a ballot by mail or fax.
