Public Health Webinar Series: December 15, Evolution of the Alaska Food Policy Council
Public Health Webinar Series: Evolution of the Alaska Food Policy Council
The State’s Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion continues its monthly webinar series next Tuesday, December 15, 2015. The webinar will focus on the evolution of the Alaska Food Policy Council. Registered dietitian Diane Peck will talk about the Section’s work during the past decade to create the council and help it evolve into a nonprofit to strengthen Alaska’s food systems and improve nutrition and health.
The Section’s webinars are free and short — lasting about 20 minutes apiece, with 10 additional minutes for questions and answers and to explore ways we can all work together. The webinars will air live the third Tuesday of every month at 1 p.m.
The webinar begins at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015:
