A group of Alaskan seafood enthusiasts gathered yesterday afternoon at the Alaska Airlines Cargo Complex to greet the arrival of the first Copper River salmon of the season! With cameras and videos capturing the moment, the doors of the Alaska airlines jet opened and out came a 45-pound king salmon to much cheer and fanfare.
Following the arrival of the fish, chefs from Humpy's and Glacier Brewhouse prepared and served a variety of innovative and very tasty salmon dishes.
Congratulations to our good friends at Copper River Seafoods and Alaska Airlines for making this event possible!
