Alaska Pollock and Alaska Salmon Complete Annual Surveillance Audit
The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute is pleased to announce both the Alaska pollock and salmon fisheries have completed the fourth annual surveillance audit for the Alaska Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) certification program. The objective of each audit is to monitor any changes since the previous assessment.

Alaska Pollock Fishery Client Group (APFCG) - the Pacific Seafood Processors Association, the At-sea Processors Association and the Alaska Groundfish Data Bank. These three organizations represent the pollock fisheries of the BSAI and GOA.
Alaska Salmon Fishery Enters Re-Assessment for Full Certification
On behalf of the Alaska salmon fishery client, the Alaska Fisheries Development Foundation (AFDF), ASMI announces the Alaska salmon fishery has entered its first re-assessment for full certification to the Alaska RFM Certification Program.
The Alaska salmon fishery was originally certified in March 2011 against the Alaska RFM Certification Program. As per Program procedures, the fishery will now undergo a complete re-assessment to coincide with the 5th year anniversary of the original certification.
