MSI Communications Promotes Kris Miller to Vice President
ANCHORAGE—MSI Communications, one of Alaska’s largest advertising and public-relations agencies, has again promoted from within, elevating Director of Client Services Kris Miller to vice president, a position in the agency’s senior management.
MSI was founded in 1995 by current owner and president, Laurie Fagnani, in Anchorage and has grown to represent some of Alaska’s largest employers and best-known brand names. Miller oversees the agency’s two largest accounts, Alaska Airlines and BP Alaska.
As director of client services, she is responsible for training and developing the account managers and account executives who, as a group, oversee the agency’s entire roster of clients.
“Kris has been instrumental in our agency’s success,” said Fagnani. “She will now have a hand in the management of day-to-day operations, business development and other major decisions, including long-term planning for MSI. Her background in organizational development has helped clients align business goals with measurable advertising goals.”

Originally from Minnesota, Miller has been with MSI for five years. She joins Creative Director Jim Coe, VP, Director of Digital Strategies Steve Howell, VP, Campaign Strategist Lana Johnson, Senior VP and Director of Finance Amy Clifford to constitute MSI’s senior advisory and agency operations-management team.
