Coming Soon: Alaska Startup Week



Alaska Startup Week is a statewide movement to promote entrepreneurship and innovation.  From July 23-31, communities around Alaska hold events that celebrate and showcase local innovators, inventors, entrepreneurs and inspire the next wave of innovations and business ventures right here in Alaska.

3-Year Outlook Luncheon: Tickets are selling fast!


Tickets are selling fast to the AEDC 3-Year Outlook Luncheon, with keynote speaker Jeffrey Hayzlett. Get your seats before they sell out!

AEDC President and CEO, Bill Popp, will present a report on what the Anchorage economy could look like over the next three years and the results of the latest Anchorage Consumer Optimism survey will also be released. Keynote speaker, Jeffrey Hayzlett, will deliver hard-earned lessons from his own business experience, including his time as CMO of Kodak, as he shares the secrets behind the success of accomplished entrepreneurs and executives.The luncheon is part of Alaska Startup Week

Important Ticket Information

After purchasing your tickets online, you will receive a digital ticket via email from Brown Paper Tickets. All event attendees are asked to bring the printed ticket to the event or have it available to present on your smart phone.

If you did not receive an e-mail confirmation with your e-ticket, please contact Karli Lopez at klopez@aedcweb.com.

Starting at noon Tuesday, July 26, AEDC staff will be unable to process requests related to event tickets.

Luncheon Parking Information

It's highly recommended that attendees park in the downtown parking garages to avoid parking meter time limits.

EasyPark event parking in the 6th & H and 7th & G garages begins at 10 a.m. Attendees can pay $3 as they enter the parking garage to help expedite those leaving the garage at the end of the event.

Parking will also be available in the JCPenney parking garage at 6th & E at a rate of $1 per hour with the first hour free.
