PND Engineers Employees Earn Professional Engineer Licenses in Alaska
PND Engineers, Inc., is pleased to announce the following professional achievements for employees in its Anchorage office.
Torsten Mayrberger, Aaron Lewis, and Mark Kobylinski earned professional engineer licenses with the State of Alaska.
Torsten Mayrberger, PE, joined the firm in 2010, working in the field of geotechnical engineering.. Mayrberger holds a Ph.D. and Master of Science degrees in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) from Michigan Tech University and Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska. He has 12 years of geotechnical engineering experience, which includes geotechnical investigations and deep foundation design in permafrost soils, and marine and non-permafrost soils investigations. His specialties include advanced triaxial testing and in-situ instrumentation.
Aaron Lewis, PE, has three years of experience in geotechnical engineering and a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical) from the University of Idaho. Lewis has experience as a field geotechnical engineer, including work on large oil and gas projects in Australia and Alaska’s North Slope.
Mark Kobylinski, PE, has been employed with the firm for more than five years and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University. His primary responsibilities include civil, structural and marine design, condition inspection, and construction quality assurance inspection. He holds welding inspection and corrosion inspection certifications.
