PND Engineers Announces Two New Hires

PND Engineers, Inc. announced the following new hires in its Anchorage office.

Iain Brown

Iain Brown, PLS, was hired as a senior land surveyor and will be heading up the survey department. Brown holds a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics, with a survey emphasis, from the University of Alaska Anchorage. He has six years of surveying experience, and brings expertise in right-of-way, drone mapping, and photogrammetry. His surveying experience includes topographical design, differential leveling, as-built, and hydrographic survey. He has experience conducting surveys for Alaska Division of Lands and the Federal Aviation Administration. Primarily, Brown’s past project experience has involved survey work for oil and gas companies, as well as rural road and bridge work for the Kenai Peninsula Borough and the ENSTAR Gas Line in Homer, making him comfortable working in remote industrial settings.

Kendra Spencer

Kendra Spencer, was brought on as an accounting technician for the firm. Spencer has 10 years of Alaska accounting experience, including seven years with Era Helicopters where she handled all accounting functions for Alaska, and two-and-a-half years with Ravn Alaska as the administrative assistant for the Maintenance Department. She is familiar with Troo, Trax, Citrix, QuickBooks, Oracle, TFBO, ADP, Empower, and ShoreTel Communicator software. She will assist the Accounting Department with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoices, and project accounting activities.
