KPB Architects Adds Jae Shin to Senior Staff

KPB Architects continues to develop their senior staff with the addition of Jae Shin, AIA, NCARB.
Shin is a lifelong Alaskan with over 20 years of architectural and project management experience. He graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Architecture and Fine Arts; additionally he has pursued continuing education in arctic design, project management, and facilities management. His expansive project experience includes all types of commercial projects in both public and private sectors. His projects have taken him to remote communities in the Arctic, Southeast and Kodiak.
Motivated by his desire to improve the community, Shin has served as one of the founding members of the Spenard Farmers Market for the past five years, and has volunteered numerous hours for the creation of the West Anchorage District Plan, Camp K on Kenai Lake for Campfire and the Anchorage Museum’s Lego Exhibit.
Shin is a welcome addition to KPB Architects where he will be managing and designing projects while pursuing new opportunities and mentoring junior staff.
