Anchorage, Alaska, (May 8, 2017) — RIM is pleased to announce that Jason Arnold, AIA CDT, has been promoted to Associate in the Alaska office. For the past nine years, Jason’s talents and enthusiasm have been leveraged across a range of project types, and he has worked collaboratively with design staff in all our offices.
Jason has taken on key leadership roles in the professional community through involvement with Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), and the American Institute of Architects (AIA)—serving as the Alaska State IDP Coordinator since 2011. He is also RIM’s liaison for the annual summer-long Bike Anchorage event, where he has coordinated a treat station for the past few years. In addition, Jason’s active involvement in Habitat for Humanity, Bean’s Café, and City Wide Clean Up encourages other RIM staff to participate. And in March of 2017, after months of intense studying, Jason successfully passed the Architecture Registration Examination and earned his architectural license in Alaska.
He received a Bachelor of Architecture from Iowa State University. Prior to joining RIM, Jason served in the US Army for ten years, as an Army Resources Sergeant with several deployments to Iraq, providing him with a depth of understanding of the administrative, logistical and organizational needs required for large entities to perform successfully.
