Larry S Cash – President/CEO of RIM Architects Named Fellow of the American Institute of Architects
RIM Architects is very proud to announce its founder and President/CEO, Larry S Cash, was elected to fellowship by the 2016 College of Fellows Jury of The American Institute of Architects (AIA). Each year, the Jury of Fellows elevates a select number of AIA members to its prestigious College of Fellows. Larry was nominated last fall by the AIA Alaska chapter and its local contingent of fellows. This highly competitive, prestigious award is a well-deserved professional milestone for Larry and all of RIM: reflective of a steadfast belief in excellence, a passion for architecture, service to the public, and an unwavering vision to create and lead a successful multi-location architecture firm.
The AIA Fellowship program elevates architects with proven significant contribution to architecture, society, and standard of excellence in the profession. Election to Fellowship recognizes individual achievement and publically and professionally honors a model professional on a national level. Out of a total AIA membership of approximately 88,000, there are fewer than 3,200 members distinguished with this honor. Larry receives his Fellowship medal during the Investiture of Fellows Ceremony in May at the national AIA Convention 2016 in Philadelphia.
Larry Cash’s advancement of practice, founded in Alaska, transcends geographic boundaries. Within political and cultural complexities, his authentic leadership, team empowerment, and strategic collaboration produce technical excellence, innovative design, exceptional project delivery, and sustainable communities.
