Bettisworth North Hires Colleen Kelly as New Director of Marketing and Business Development

ANCHORAGE, AK—Bettisworth North Architects and Planners announced Colleen Kelly, a home grown Alaskan, as their new Director of Marketing and Business Development.

Kelly’s decade of experience in communication and marketing began in advertising and journalism before transitioning to business development. Her primary responsibility at Bettisworth North is to share the firm’s vision as community builders through meaningful design for Alaskans statewide.

Kelly has been an active professional presenting at various industry events, including the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) – Alaska Chapter CommEx Conference and Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America – Alaska Chapter Annual Conference. She earned top honors from the Construction Marketing Association (CMA) for publicity, served on the national AGC of America Business Development Steering Committee, and is a returning member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS). She holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and Public Communications and French Language from the University of Alaska Anchorage and is nearing completion of a Master of Arts degree in Technical Communication from Minnesota State University.

Beginning this September, Kelly begins her term as Communications Director for SMPS – Alaska Chapter.
