Come hear climate justice speaker Jacqui Patterson
Against the backdrop of Alaska's experience with climate change, the NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Director Jacqui Patterson will visit Alaska to raise awareness about climate change and its disproportionate impact on the poor and minorities.
Patterson’s visit is co-hosted by the NAACP-Anchorage, the Alaska Center, Alaska Youth for Environmental Action, Alaska Center for Energy and Power, and the Renewable Energy Alaska Project. The partner groups have a common goal for economic development and job creation via clean energy.
